The AKG D3700WL is the cardioid capsule found on the D3700. The capsule is designed for use with AKG handheld transmitters that accommodate interchangeable capsules.
The cardioid polar pattern providing a greater pick up range than that of super-cardioid pattern, while reducing noise and unwanted signal at the off-axis sections of the capsule.
The microphone yields a frequency response of 70 - 20,000Hz making it suitable for vocal and instrument capturing.
The dynamic element features a max SPL response of 147dB allowing it to capture transient signals without peaking.
