Commercial Sound Compression Drivers
A 30-watt "explosion-proof" driver that will not create a spark or detonate in an explosive atmosphere. Integral sintered bronze acoustic screen and heavy die-cast aluminum case meet the UL standards for explosion-proof classification. Meets or exceeds standards for use in hazardous areas classified as Class I - Groups B, C and D. Dual 1-inch screw-on exits, 8-ohm impedance. Driver housing is designed to contain a University Sound 5030 transformer for 20/70.7-volt distributed systems. Transformer purchased separately.
The Electro-Voice 7110XC is a 30-watt, 8-Ohm "explosion-proof" industrial compression driver with a 1.5" voice-coil, designed not to spark or detonate in an explosive atmosphere. The integral sintered bronze acoustic screen, and die-cast aluminum case meet the UL standards for explosion-proof classification.
The 7110XC meets or exceeds standards for use in hazardous areas classified as Class I/Groups B, C and D. The unit is equipped with dual 1" screw-on exits, and the 1-3/8" threads allow for screw-on attachment to virtually any horn.
