Dark layer with a silvery shimmering wash,No folks, we're talking about a rather aggressive mid-range type of attack with an icy-blue wash supporting it. Numerous tests with some of our finest PAISTE artists have proven we're on the right path. The smaller sizes-17" and 18"- function perfectly as main accent crashes and the larger sizes-19" and 20"-will serve perfectly as "crash/ride" cymbals. We're all familiar with the famous 8th note-pattern on the crash in the chorus! The cutting, sharp attack and the short decay of these new cymbals are crucial for this type of musical application.
